More of our teams play in the MKDDL than any other League we enter, and it’s fair to say that the Club has a strong interest in ensuring the League continues to flourish and be run in an effective manner.
For the last four years, Ian Doggett had not only acted as our Club Representative, he has also been an MKDDL Committee Member – most recently Vice Chairman.
Ian is now stepping back, and the Club is very grateful for all his time and energy (particularly safeguarding the interests of WWFC).
It does mean that we now need a WWFC MKDDL Rep.
Our Rep. just needs to attend the 3 – 4 League meetings each season and vote on behalf of the club for any new rules or clubs joining. Then after each meeting, write up a short report on key points from the meeting to share them with the WWFC Committee and managers involved in the MKDDL. It’s really minimal commitment from that person, but a very good way of getting involved in wider club matters, other than just his/her own team.
This role is open to any potential WWFC volunteer involved with a team playing in the MKDDL, so please spread the word.
Anyone interested in knowing more, please get in touch with me Robert Hill.
