SCORE DRAW‘HANDLED’ THE CONDITIONS WELL

On yet another day when matches were falling foul to the weather, we managed to get a game at Mursley. Playing at their place for the first time, the pitch was very hard and conditions cold. This may well have contributed to the most hand balls ever seen in a Hurricanes match !   Illness meant we lost Jake, whilst Josh valiantly played despite being unwell.  Both sides served up a match to warm the heart, with plenty of passion and some more good football from the boys. For the second match in a row Adie pulled off some excellent saves, Joe was solid and effective, George particularly impressive coming forward on the right and Cathal was deadly in front of goal. Archie ran his socks off and produced some dazzling runs, Ashton too put in a massive shift in another bruising match for him, whilst the ever-improving Callum caused problems upfront and was reliable in goal. However, this was a real team effort from a depleted squad playing excellent football on hard conditions.  Well done everyone….. supporters too !
