So much to be proud of for the boys today, particularly the determination and drive we’d called for after last weeks’ cup exit. Right from the off, Hurricanes flew at the opposition, dictating play and dealing comfortably with any threats. In all departments, the boys excelled and it was surprising to reach half time with little reward. Second half saw a more even balance of play with chances at both ends. Some unfortunate luck meant we looked to be getting nothing for our efforts, however a morning of dangerous corners finally paid dividends in spectacular form right at the death. A real team performance, but some outstanding contributions from Adie, Cathal and Jake. Also a superb display from Harrison in a new role, and an excellent debut from Joe. All in all, plenty of ‘reasons to be cheerful’.
