A game of four quarters is probably the best summary for Saturday’s match against Wing Raiders who had some outstanding players. In spells we played very well, defending solidly and breaking on the counter attack with pace. The boys showed good movement off the ball and there were some excellent examples of players making the right decisions of when to pass and when to attack space.
As always, we learn from every game and I, and the rest of the coaching team will continue to instill the importance of keeping our heads up even when we’re not feeling the game is going our way. If we play to this ethos we will develop faster as a team and be stronger as result. I know you will continue to support us with this, thank you.
Training on Wednesday will be the usual time at the Rec and we are at home on Saturday against Winslow Pumas, 9.30 kick off.
