Winslow Utd Pumas 3 8 WWFC Lions - Hurricanes
10th December 2016
Richard Roper Playing Field, Lenborough Road, Gawcott, Buckingham, MK18 4JG.

Unfortunately the Hurricanes were a few boys short for this game so each side played with only 8 players and the Hurricanes had no subs!
For the second week in a row the boys started the game very strongly and played like they wanted to win.
Just a few minutes into the game Harrison had a good shot at goal but was unfortunately saved by the keeper.
A few minutes later Dan had a good shot also saved by the goalkeeper but Cathal followed up and managed to score!
The boys continued to play really good football and were pilling the pressure on Winslow.
Winslow did put up fight and Archie produced a couple of nice saves and there was also some great defending from Joe V and Omary.
Winslows goalkeeper made a long clearance to their forward who managed to hit the back of the net to equalise.
Soon after the Hurricanes attacked and Dan scored to made it 2-1.
Shortly after there was another good move from the boys and Jake put Cathal through to make the score 3-1.
Cathal then scored again for his hat trick to make the score 4-1 at half time.
Shortly in to the second half Omary made a great run down the right and crossed for Dan to score his second goal and the Hurricanes 5th.
But all credit to Winslow as they managed to score to make it 5-2.
A few minutes later Winslow attack again but Archie makes another good save.
However a lack if concentration from the Hurricanes and Winslow make the score 5-3.
The boys managed to pull it back and minutes later Cathal makes it 6-3.
With a great corner from Dan Cathal makes it 7-3 and his 5th goal!
With seconds remaining the boys get a penalty which Joe V takes and smashes the back of the net to make the final score 8/3.
A fantastic performance from the boys. With only 8 of them and no subs they obviously play much better under pressure! A great way to end the first half of the season and they can enjoy the Xmas break with their heads held high!!
