Wavendon Rec
League game

A tough game in hot conditions, against a very well drilled team. Despite this we still showed some real positives during the game. The boys kept their composure and showed real resilience.

There were many excellent examples of defending as a team, with some really good tackles and last ditch blocks made by all boys.  Again we showed some nice passing and were unlucky on numerous occasions on the counter-attack. The goals scored were all taken well, especially the free kick which was outstanding.

We will continue to work on passing in training, keeping our shape and run through some goalkeeping rules.

We are at home this coming Saturday to Tattenhoe Youth Panthers, 9.30 kick off.

Finally a big thank you to all the boys and parents for their support with the minutes applause in tribute to Paul King.
