McDonald’s Super Sixes 2024 Tournaments @ Woburn.
We’re proud to announce that our annual McDonald’s Woburn & Wavendon FC Lions & Lionesses Tournaments will be held in June & July 2024 with registration now open!
We’re excited for the return of our McDonald’s Super Sixes tournaments in 2024 and we’re currently planning to deliver our biggest ones to date. Details are below!
McDonald’s Lionesses’ (Girls Only) Tournament – 29th & 30th June 2024
The McDonald’s Lionesses’ (Girls Only) Tournament, known as the WWFC Lionesses Super Sixes, will be running for it’s 17th year and played over the weekend of Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2024.
Our tournament caters from U8 to U18s, with the U8 age group being non-competitive football with all players receiving a medal for their participation on the day. All other age groups (U9 to U18s) will play 6 a-side competing for two/three cups (the number of cup competitions is dependent on the age group size)* with a maximum number of 10 players per team.
*we will look to group teams based on the divisions they currently play in to make it more competitive for all. More details will be provided once places have been confirmed.
McDonald’s Lions’ (Mixed) Tournament – 6th & 7th July 2024
The McDonald’s Lions’ (Mixed) Tournament, known as the WWFC Lions Super Sixes, will be celebrating it’s 39th year as a tournament and played over the weekend of Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July 2024.
This year’s tournament will comprise of U7 to U14 age groups, the U7 and U8 event will be non-competitive and they will play 7 a-side football with all players receiving a medal at the end. All other age groups (U9s to U14s) will play 6 a-side competing for three trophies* with a maximum number of 10 players per team.
*we will look to group teams based on the divisions they currently play in to make it more competitive for all. More details will be provided once places have been confirmed.
