Woburn & Wavendon FC have set the dates for our McDonald’s Super Sixes 2023 Tournaments @ Woburn and would welcome teams to register their interest. We have put together a form for teams to complete and will confirm places in the coming weeks along with additional information.
The tournament dates are as follows:
McDonald’s Lionesses’ (Girls Only) Tournament – 24th & 25th June 2023
This will be for U8 to U18s, with the competitive age groups (U9-U18) taking part in 6 a-side Cup competition with a maximum number of 10 players per team. The U8s age group will be non-competitive as they’ll play 7 a-side football with all players receiving a medal for their participation.
McDonald’s Lions’ (Mixed) Tournament – 1st & 2nd July 2023
This will be for U7 to U14s, the U7 and U8 event will be non-competitive, and they will play 7 a-side football with all players receiving a medal at the end. All other age groups (U9s to U14s) will play 6 a-side Cup competition* with a maximum number of 10 players per team.
*we will look to group teams based on the divisions they currently play in to make it more competitive for all. More details will be provided once places have been confirmed.
