As a hugely successful season – both on and off the pitch – draws to a close, one of the most significant success stories for our Club is the number of players we retain each season, and the number of new players coming from parents and grandparents who have previously been involved with WWFC.
Surely one of the best examples of loyalty and success comes from Carrie Mancini. Celebrating a decade as a Lion & Lioness, Carrie has played over 300 games for the Club and has finished this season as Captain of the Ladies Blues team, winning the league and remaining unbeaten in the league all season. Not only that, Carrie has secured places at both the EDSV Football Academy in St Albans and West Ham Ladies – all within her first year at college !
The Club would like to congratulate Carrie on her superb achievements, and also thank all of those who have helped to make such a superb record possible.
