McDonald’s Super Sixes 2025 Tournaments.
Welcome to our official tournament page, which will include all of the information you need to enjoy our packed weekend of football!
Introduction & Thanks
We’re thrilled to welcome you to the McDonald’s Super Sixes tournament! Your support in joining us across both weekends means so much, and we truly appreciate your participation.
As the oldest football club in the area, we take great pride in hosting a festival that celebrates fun, football, and friendship for all participating teams. A huge thank you to McDonald’s for supporting the tournament for a fourth consecutive year, along with ID Medical and J&S Trophies, who have generously joined us as sponsors for a second year. Whether you’re returning or joining us for the first time, we strive to ensure a seamless experience, with teams enjoying exciting small-sided games throughout the day—alongside familiar faces you may have encountered during the season.
Here are a few key points on how the weekends will run:
- We will continue using this webpage as our eco-friendly tournament programme, providing all the essential details to help you plan and prepare for the event.
- A live tournament app will once again be used for fixtures, results, and tables across both weekends. This ensures greater accessibility and allows for any last-minute changes. The app will go live one day before the tournaments.
- Where possible, teams will be grouped for more competitive matches and structured as mini tournaments. This means even more opportunities to progress to the knockout stages for the competitive age groups as well as enjoy exciting matchups.
We’re thrilled to once again have the support of England Lionesses captain Leah Williamson, who continues to champion the growth of the game in her home city while inspiring future generations of Lionesses. After an incredible season, winning the Women’s Champions League and becoming the face of Pepsi and Walkers, Leah remains a fantastic role model for female football. To honour her achievements, one group in each Lionesses age category will proudly bear her name! As Leah and her family focus on preparations for UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 in Switzerland, which kicks 2 July 2025, we’ll be cheering on the Lionesses with full support, hoping they bring it home once again!
We look forward to another successful year for the club as we deliver our biggest and most exciting tournaments yet! This achievement is no small task and is only made possible by the dedication and hard work of our incredible volunteers, who have put in tremendous effort to plan, set up, and run the events. A special thank you to our members for taking on a wide range of responsibilities throughout the weekend, as well as to our Tournament and Club Committee, whose time and expertise have been invaluable in making this happen, you all have our deepest gratitude!
Finally, a huge thank you to all the players, coaches, families, and friends who have come together today to support the tournament. We encourage everyone to uphold the values of the FA’s Respect code; remember, the players are children, the coaches and event staff are dedicated volunteers, and the referees are doing their best. This is their game, so let’s support them, show good sportsmanship, and let them play!
I would like to wish you all a very enjoyable day!

Respect
Please Remember RESPECT is Everything
Woburn & Wavendon FC proudly supports the Football Association’s Respect Code of Conduct. We ask everyone involved in the weekend’s tournaments to uphold these principles, ensuring a positive, safe, and supportive environment where children can enjoy and develop through the game.
FA Respect Code of Conduct for Spectators & Parents / Carers
We all share the responsibility of upholding high standards of behaviour in the game. The FA’s Respect Programme helps ensure football remains a safe and positive experience for everyone. Children’s football is about more than just competition, it’s a time for them to develop their technical, physical, tactical, and social skills. Winning isn’t everything, so let’s all play our part by following the FA’s Respect Code of Conduct for spectators and parents/carers throughout the tournament.
Sponsors
A massive thank you to all of our club sponsors, whose support enables us to bring football to so many children and adults in the community. We are proud to host our club tournaments each year, and this wouldn’t be possible without the support of our members and generosity of businesses that help make it happen.
For a second year, we’re excited to partner with ID Medical for our McDonald’s Super Sixes tournaments!

With the amazingly generous support of lots of Woburn & Wavendon FC’s friends in our local business community we invite our tournament guests to buy raffle tickets to be in with the chance of winning some really incredible prizes.

Supporting Charities
Shay’s Smile
WWFC is all about Fun, Football & Friendship. It’s therefore with all our love that we are so proud to support the Shay’s Smiles Charity. Wishing all those connected massive success for such a meaningful cause. We will always remember and be by your side guys.
Make A Wish
We have a page with more information as well as a list of all the amazing items included in the auction, so please take a look and share it amongst friends and family.
Football can bring a community together and help in so many ways off the pitch, which is why we are supporting Make A Wish UK with a charity auction to help raise much needed funds to continue creating magical moments for children with critical illnesses.
Willen Hospice
For a second year, WWFC will also be supporting and raising money for Willen Hospice. This will be through our Lionesses’ Charity Cup, which will have 30 adult women taking part, as they are randomly grouped together in teams to complete in small sided games. This will feature our very own WWFC Lionesses’ Women’s team along with friends!
