Thanks to the excellent support, WWFC have purchased nearly 300 poppies for our players to wear over Remembrance Weekend. This is a tremendous effort, and has helped towards a national total of almost £18,500 and poppies sold out.
We hope to create a ‘wall of player/poppy portraits’ to feature on this website and to circulate to local media, so please help by sending in individual player portrait pictures featuring poppies on shirts. Individual team Managers will hopefully co-ordinate this, sending pics to Gary Towers:- gjt1@live.com
If you have any other pics featuring poppies on kits, send them too, or why not upload onto your team pages.
With the League seasons drawing to a close, now is an excellent time to consider joining a WWFC team. Many are progressing on to 7, 9 or 11-a-side football next
A huge well done to our U11, & U15 Lionesses, who all were awarded the Fairplay Award by the Beds F.A. at the Bedforshire F.A. Flitwick Summer Tournament. Club Chairman
