Against the might of OXFORD CITY x 2, WINCHESTER CITY, DIDCOT & KIDLINGTON, the u16s had to be at there best to even get out of the group stages. They dug in after the hour long journey leaving at 7.30am on a Sunday!!! Mad!? We knew we had to start well with pace and power & we did, Goals from Molly, Carrie & Chloe R and some real strong defensive work from Grace, Alice & Charlie in goal, with great pressure upfront from Madison & Emily made it a very worth while visit!
A great Semi-Final (winning 7-6 on penalties)& Final saw the Lionesses having to beat both Oxford City teams, in the end Runners up 4-3 on penalties!! Some great penalties . So unlucky!! But great for the crowd!! Well done all who travelled to play and support another small memory to add to the box.
