The 8th Annual WWFC Lionesses Super 6’s Tournament
On the 26th & 27th of July 2015, we were joined by 113 Teams from 7 different counties, well over 1000 players and upwards of 3000 spectators enjoyed a sunshine filled weekend of football. The tournament has now established itself as the largest all female tournament in the South Of England. Age groups from U9 (none competitive) and U10 through Ladies, this year we were joined by several semi professional adult women’s teams. The quality of football played this year was exceptional, and thus the competition was of an unrivaled standard.

In a magnificent show of sportsmanship, after a hard fought 0-0 draw, rather than face the agony of a penalty shoot out, both teams agreed to share the title. A terrific advert for sporting behavior and WWFC commends both teams
