McDONALD’S BACK LIONESSES TOURNAMENT & MUCH MORE

The Club are delighted to announce that the Lionesses Tournament has been selected to play host to one of only 3 McDonald’s/FA Community Football Days in the UK this Summer. Held on Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th June 2017, this is an immense accolade for football in Bedfordshire, WWFC and the Lionesses.

More than 400 clubs applied to host Community Football Days, so we are excited and honoured to be selected.

The award will bring with it an excellent range of support and activities including:-

  • McDonald’s Inflatables.
  • McDonald’s celebrity Football Ambassador.
  • Support with promotion of the event through the McDonald’s Better Play Website and social media channels.
  • PVC banners x 4
  • Feather flag banners x 4
  • Pop-up banners x 8
  • Bibs x 250
  • T-shirts x 50
  • Find a Club leaflets

At the same time, the Club is delighted to announce a further extension of our partnership with the McDonald’s Restaurants locally. Ken Tomkins, McDonald’s Franchisee for local MK restaurants at Kingston, Brickhill, Westcroft, Xscape and Central Milton Keynes will sponsor a pitch and referees for both the Lionesses Tournament and the Lions Tournament this Summer.  McDonald’s will also become shirt sponsor to a Lionesses team commencing 2017/18 season. This will be in addition to the sponsorship of the current U15  & U11 Whirlwinds teams.

The Club would like to thank Ken for the immense long term support he continues to give WWFC, but particularly his direct interest and involvement in delivering so many positive initiatives not only for our Club but also the Milton Keynes community as a whole.
